Rules: Able to work within 20 hours per week on condition that employment does not affect your studies.
Criteria: The nature of a job should be relevant to your studies and the workload should not be too demanding so that you can manage the balance between work and study. (Factory jobs or jobs in a manufacturing sector are NOT permitted.
Requirement:
Students who have stayed in Korea for more than 6 months holding a D-4-1 visa can apply for a part-time job after the approval of the consultant.
The overall semester attendance rate must be over 90% and the previous semester must be completed(Average score must be over 70).
In possession of the TOPIK II Level 2 or above cerfication)
Method: Students have to fill in the application form (signed by relevant staff) and submit it to the CKLC office before submitting the paperwork to the Immigration office.
**** If you start your employment without prior permission of CKLC, you will be in custody, be charged for fines of KRW 1,000,000 (As a minimum) or be deported back to your home country. If deportation, you cannot re-enter Korea indefinitely.
